Ottobock Triton prosthetic foot family: six carbon fiber foot configurations side by side

Product Overview

An active walker covering everything from Las Cruces sidewalks to the gravel trails around Ruidoso needs a foot that keeps up. The Ottobock Triton is a carbon fiber prosthetic foot family built for active adults with transtibial or transfemoral amputations (mobility grades K3–K4). Each foot pairs interconnected carbon fiber springs with a split forefoot for energy return at push-off and multi-axial adaptation on uneven ground, supporting up to a 150 kg (330 lbs) weight limit.

The Triton family spans six configurations for different activity and build needs. Beyond the standard 1C60 base, options include the 1C63 Low Profile for limited build space, the water-resistant 1C64 Heavy Duty, and dedicated modules for vertical shock (1C61), vacuum suspension (1C62), and side flex (1C68). Your prosthetist matches the precise model and spring stiffness to your mobility goals, and it integrates with your socket — as well as microprocessor knees such as the C-Leg or Genium for the Low Profile and side flex versions.

Features and Benefits

  • Interconnected carbon springs: Return energy through the step for a smooth rollover and stable midfoot loading during dynamic walking.
  • Split forefoot adaptation: Flexes to match ground contours, holding traction and control through quick turns and uneven surfaces.
  • Low-profile & Heavy-duty options: The 1C63 delivers full carbon dynamics at a minimal clearance height, while the 1C64 uses a titanium adapter for a high-strength, water-resistant build.
  • Vertical shock and torsion (1C61 VS): Absorbs vertical impact and reduces axial rotation, easing shear forces on the residual limb during running or stair descent.
  • Adjustable heel response: Included heel wedges allow your prosthetist to tune heel-strike stiffness, softening initial contact to protect the knee and hip.
  • Insurance coding and warranty: PDAC-verified under HCPCS code L5981 (the 1C68 side flex adds L5986) and backed by Ottobock's 3-year warranty.
